Kojima on MG5: "we'll probably have to make it"
"at some point".
Speaking with Official PlayStation Magazine, Kojima Productions honcho and Metal Gear Creator talked about a possible sequel to Metal Gear Solid 4.
"I think we'll probably have to make it at some point, but what that will be, we have no idea," he confessed. However, it seems he'll be taking a bit more of a back seat.
"As far as my involvement in the project is concerned, [it] probably won't be as much as it was with MGS1 - maybe I can do just one stage!" he said.
"For MGS1 I made the maps myself, laid out the enemy routes myself, did everything hands-on - that level I can't do again."
Of course, fans might remember that previously Kojima said that Metal Gear Solid 2 would be the last game he made in the series - citing the game's core theme of passing on knowledge to future generations. He then insisted that MGS4 would be the definite final Metal Gear Solid title, before going on to make Peace Walker.
Currently, though, Kojima is hard at work on the secretive Project Ogre, and is expected to show off work-in-progress Metal Gear: Rising next month.
